Let me, with my eyelids, and with the tear that flows down,

And with the love from my sad heart, wash away

Wiping it with my cheek as glorious honor

Threads of passions and love being spun

It tells the news of the past time

Summarizing at times and detailing at others

Let me handshake here my hand of pride

And here was the best of creations, Muhammad

Praying, humbly dressed in his robes

And a blessed place for the lover settled

A vast space in which I flew soaring

As if on a star that shone alone

While all other stars set below

I ascended to it, God paved its ladder

So ask not how its rain pours

A deep feeling in my heart that delves

Minutes ten, like centuries in status

And greatest on the scale, in value and weight

Saying to it words, on which we depend

And its station with God is revered

And greater than it in sanctity is the blood

Of a Muslim unjustly and criminally spilled

And with the love from my sad heart, wash away
