خُوضوا البحار وعانقوا الأمواج

فلقد أضأتم للوفاء سراجا

Embrace the seas and hug the waves,

For you have lit a lamp for loyalty,

ولقد رسمتم للتّضامن لوحةً

عظمى وشيّدتم له الأبراجا

And you have painted a great painting for solidarity,

And built high minarets for it.

أسعدتم البحر الأجاج فلم يعد

من بعد ما أسعدتموه أجاجا

You made the turbulent sea happy,

After you made it happy, it was no longer turbulent.

وأضئتم الليل البهيم بشمسكم

ومنحتموه سراجها الوّهاجا

You illuminated the brutal night with your sun,

And granted it your blazing torch.

علمتم الدنيا دروس فضيلةٍ

كسرت عن الأمل الكبير رتاجا

You taught the world lessons of virtue,

That broke the great hope's litter.

أحرجتم الدول الكبار وإن تكن

ماتت فما تستشعر الإحراجا

You embarrassed the major countries, though if they died,

They would not feel embarrassment.

يا خير أسطولٍ رأته عيونن

لما رآه البغي هاج وماجا

O best fleet our eyes have seen,

When the unjust saw it, he raged and fumed.

يا خير أسطولٍ سرى بعزيمةٍ

كبرى ليمنح مُعدِماً محتاجا

O best fleet that sailed with great resolve,

To provide for one in need.

ولينبي الدار التي هدمت بل

حقٍ ويحمل للمريض علاجا

And to rebuild a house that was destroyed unjustly,

And to bring medicine to the sick.

ولينّصر المظلوم والمحروم في

عصرٍ تمادى الظلم فيه وراجا

And to support the oppressed and deprived, in an era,

Where injustice in it spread and raged.

لله دّر المدلجين لغاية

كبرى يهوّن لنيلها الإدلاجا

Blessed are those who volunteered for a great cause,

To attain which, volunteering was made easy.

لما رأوا أن القضية أصبحت

أوراقها لا تبرح الأدراجا

When they saw the cause had become,

Papers that do not leave the drawers.

ساروا لفك حصار غزةَ بعدم

ضرب النّظام العالمي سياجا

They went to break the siege on Gaza, after,

The world order did not erect a fence.

كسروا جدار الصمت منذ تسنّمو

متن الصعاب وأقبلوا أفواجا

They broke the wall of silence since they assumed,

The difficulties and came in droves.

يا أيها المتضامنون وفاؤكم

هزّ البحار وماؤها الثّجاجا

O you who showed solidarity, your loyalty,

Shook the seas and their tumultuous waters.

أنتم طليعة أمةٍ لا تنحني

ذُلاً ولا تتنكبُ المنهاجا

You are the vanguard of a nation that does not bow down in humiliation,

And does not deviate from the course.
