أيُّ حربٍ هذه أيُّ ضلالِ
ولماذا أغلقوا باب " المعالي "
What war is this, what misguidance
Why did they close the door of "Al Ma'ali"
حجبوا " الرَّحمة " و" الحكمة" عنَّ
و"صفا "و"الفجر" من بعد "وصالِ"
They veiled "Mercy" and "Wisdom" from us
And "Safa" and "Dawn" after "Connection"
أغلقوا بوابة " الحافظ " فيه
من كتاب الله ما يتلوهُ تالِ
They closed the gate of "Al-Hafez" in it
From the Book of Allah he recites
حرموا الناسَ من " النَّاس " وألْقو
با " الخليجية " في درب الزَّوال
They forbade people from "People" and threw
"Al Khaleejiya" in the path of decline
أنذروا " المجْدَ " وهل ينذر مجد
مَنْ يُنادي بهدوءٍ واعتدالِ
They warned "Glory", but does glory warn
One who calls calmly and moderately
ضايقونا في فضاء اللهِ حتَّى
ضاقت الأنفسُ من ضيقِ المجالِ
They hassled us in Allah's space until
Souls were hassled by the narrowness of scope
مالهم لمْ يُغلقوا باب انحرافٍ
في فضائياتِ عُهرٍ وانحلالِ ؟!
Why didn't they close the door of deviation
In the satellites of obscenity and dissolution?!
تركوا أصواتَ حقدٍ مذهبيٍّ
تَمْلأُ الآفاقَ شتْماً وتُغالي
They left voices of sectarian hatred
Filling horizons with insults and transgressions
وأبوا أنْ يتركوا أصواتَ خيرٍ
تُطربُ الآذانَ بالسِّحر الحلالِ
And they refused to leave the good voices
That delight the ears with lawful magic
كيف يغتالونَ في الآفاقِ صوت
يُرشدُ النَّاسَ إلى خير الفِعالِ ؟!
How can they assassinate in the horizons a voice
That guides people to the best of deeds?!
و يُتيحونَ مجالاً لدَعَاوى
تجرف النَّاس إلى دربِ الضَّلالِ
And make way for claims
That carry people to the path of misguidance
أيُّها القانونُ أصبحتَ عجيب
في زماني ، ناطقاً عن سوءِ حالِ
O law, you have become strange
In my time, speaking of ill
تَحْجِبُ العَالِمَ و الشَّيخ وتُبقي
واهِماً منطقه ضَربُ مُحال
You veil the scholar and the sheikh and keep
Delusional one whose logic is absurd
أيُّ عقلٍ يحجب الحقَّ اعتساف
أيُّ إرهابٍ وظُلْمٍ واختلالِ ؟!
What mind veils the truth with arrogance
What terrorism, injustice and disorder?!
لستَ قانوناً ، ولكن أنتَ حكمٌ
جائرٌ في كفِّ مذموم الخصالِ
You are not law, but you are an
Unjust ruler in the grip of despised traits
صانكَ الأقوى ليبقى منكَ أقوى
وليحمي بكَ أشباه الرِّجالِ
The strongest protected you to keep the strongest
And protect the likes of men through you
قدْ رأيناكَ عنيفاً مُستبدّ
في فلسطين بدعم الاحتلالِ
We have seen you violent and despotic
In Palestine with occupation support
ورأيناكَ غشوماً في عراقٍ
لم يذق منكَ سوى طعم الوبال
And we saw you deceitful in an Iraq
That tasted from you only the taste of affliction
ورأيناكَ تُجاري مَنْ يُنادي
لفسادِ الفعلِ أو سوء المقالِ
And we saw you compete with those who call
For the corruption of deeds or evil words
ورأيناكَ تُحابي منْ يُعرِّي
في الفضائيلتِ ربَّاتِ الحجالِ
And we saw you befriend those who strip
The veiled women on satellite channels
ورأيناكَ رأيناكَ كثير
لابساً ثوبَ التَّجنِّي و الخبَالِ
And we saw you, we saw you a lot
Wearing the garb of villainy and trickery
أيُّها القانونُ مازلْتَ تُرين
في مقاماتِ الهوى شرَّ مثالِ
O law, you still show
In the positions of passion the worst example
أنتَ بيتٌ عنكبوتيٌّ ضعيفٌ
يتلاشى واهناً قبل اكتمالِ
You are a flimsy cobweb house
That fades frailly before completion
أنتَ مثْلُ الذّئبِ لا يحكم إل
باعتداءٍ وافتراسٍ واغتيالِ
You are like the wolf that rules only
With assault, predation and assassination
أيُّها القانونُ إن كنتَ ستبقى
رافعاً راية زورٍ واحتيالِ
O law, if you remain
Raising the banner of fraud and deceit
فسنلقاكَ بدرعٍ من يقينٍ
وسهامٍ من دعاءٍ وابتهال
We will face you with a shield of conviction
And arrows of supplication and prayer
كن كما شئتَ فإنَّا قد رفعن
راية الحقِّ وإنَّا لا نبالي
Be as you wish, for we have raised
The banner of truth and we do not care
وعْيُنا أكبر من دعواكَ إنَّ
نستمدُّ العَونَ من ربِّ الجلالِ
And our eyes are bigger than your claims, we
Draw help from the Lord of Majesty
خاسرٌ و الله من يلقى يقين
بظنونٍ ، وصلاحا بضلالِ
Lost by Allah is he who meets conviction
With doubts, and reform with misguidance
