أري موكب الرحمن هلت وفوده

إلي مكة الغراء تتري حشوده

I see the procession of the Merciful, its delegations pouring in,

Towards radiant Mecca, where the multitudes stream in succession.

أتوه بأثواب تفيض من التقي

ويحيا بها قفر تحي نجوده

They come to Him in garments overflowing with piety,

Reviving the barren wastes and bringing life to the heights.

أتوه يسوقون الهدي لربه

ملبين يارباه جئنا نقوده

They come driving the sacrificial offering to its Lord,

Chanting 'Here we are, O Lord,' as we lead it forth.

قصدنا به البيت الحرام يؤمنا

رجاء حملناه تعالي نشيده

Seeking the Sacred House to guide our way,

Carrying a hope that rises high as we raise our voices.

ومن عرفات قد افضنا ومن مني

ومزدلف صدق لأمر نريده

From Arafat we have poured forth, and from Mina too,

And at Muzdalifah, true to the purpose we desire.

لنا فيك من يمن الرجاء أعنة

تقود مسار الروح حيث تقوده

In You, through the blessing of hope, we hold the reins,

Guiding the soul's journey wherever You may steer it.

فزعنا إلي الرحمن نسعي لروضة

بها نفحات من رضاك نروده

We flee to the Merciful, striving for a garden,

Seeking within it the fragrant breezes of Your pleasure.

تركنا هوي الأوطان خلف ظهورنا

واهلا علي شوق تلظي وقوده

We have cast the love of homelands behind our backs,

And family too, though the fires of longing fiercely burn.

علي كل أنواع المطي وضامر

دعاء دعته للوفاء وعوده

Upon every kind of mount and lean, swift camel,

Answering a call that summoned us to fulfill the vow.

وبين الصفا والمروة ازداد سعينا

بأم القري سعيا يطيب مزيده

Between Safa and Marwa our striving intensifies,

In the Mother of Cities, a labor whose increase is sweet.

وفي حجر إسماعيل طافت بنا الرؤي

علي شاطئ الماضي تداني بعيده

And in the sanctuary of Ishmael, visions circled around us,

Upon the shores of the past, drawing the distant near.

غداة خليل الله يعلي قواعدا

لبيت تسامي للسماء صعوده

The morning the Friend of God raised the foundations,

For a House whose ascent towers toward the heavens.

ونذكر في يوم الفداء يقينه

وقد زاد في نجوي الإله هجوده

And we remember, on the Day of Sacrifice, his certainty,

As his night vigils deepened in communion with God.

وتسليمه لله أمرا قضي به

وكان الفدي فيه لوعد يريده

And his submission to God in a command He had decreed,

Where the ransom came to fulfill a promise He desired.

أتاه بذبح شق غيب سمائه

يفرج كربا عنه كاد يؤوده

It came to him—a sacrifice piercing the veil of the unseen,

Relieving a burden that had nearly crushed his spirit.

فكان جزاء المحسنين جزاءه

فأعظم بيوم للفداء رصيده

Thus was the reward of the doers of good his reward;

How magnificent is the Day of Sacrifice in its merit!

لهذا سعي وفد الحجيج لبيته

يري منسكا يرجي وخيرا يفيده

For this, the delegation of pilgrims journeyed to His House,

Seeking a hoped-for rite and a blessing to be gained.

وسار الذي لبي النداء لرامة

يطوف ويسعي إذ دعاه مريده

And he who answered the call marched toward the sanctuary,

Circling and striving when his Master summoned him.

وغشي رحاب الأرض صوت ندائه

يؤلف لحنا من قديم جديده

And the sound of his call covered the expanse of the earth,

Composing a melody that blends the ancient and the new.

إلهي وانت البر ذو العفو والندي

وانت الملاذ الرحب يبغي شهوده

My God, You are the Beneficent, Lord of Pardon and Grace,

And You are the vast Refuge sought by those who witness You.

سعينا الي البيت العتيق وزمز

لنشرب من ري حبيب وروده

We have hastened to the Ancient House and to Zamzam,

To drink from a beloved spring, sweet to approach.

بأرض عليها رفرف الوحي خافقا

بأجنحة فيها استقرت مهوده

In a land where Revelation once fluttered on beating wings,

With wings that found rest within its cradles.

إليك أيا رب الأنام ومكة

حملنا خطايانا وإصرا نبيده

To You, O Lord of Mankind and Lord of Mecca,

We have brought our sins and burdens, seeking to cast them away.
