    فرقصت عطفه النشوان رناتي

    Alone with poetry, I was moved by its passions

    Dancing with joy to its melodies

  11. وشف لي خافي الدنيا وألهمني

    سحر الجمال وأسرار الجلالات

    It revealed to me the secrets of life and inspired me

    With the magic of beauty and the mysteries of sublimity

  12. وهبت للشعر إحساسي وعاطفتي

    وذكرياتي وترنيمي وأناتي

    I gave poetry my feelings, emotions, memories

    My songs, sighs, and melodies

  13. فهو ابتسامي ودمعي وهو تسليتي

    وفرحتي وهو آلامي ولذاتي

    It is my smile and my tears, my solace
