My heart roams embracing al-Aqsa, do not worry,

Weep oceans of blood and shed tears over the sanctuaries,

Convey my greetings, longing and apologize to a young man,

Who lives a prisoner so he only possesses words,

Even my poem is a prisoner like its poet,

But one day it will sacrifice itself like a raging fire,

Yearning for al-Aqsa, for my Jerusalem has ignited,

My passion and affection are fires of pain,

Meeting has become impossible while yearning drives me,

And the one with borders has prisons, so be patient,

For the young man's drop of water saves him in the desert,

And dreaming comforts him in captivity and among the clouds,

So carry its soil and kiss its land and stop

At the rock recall the days of glory and generosity,

Recall the days of Salah al-Din and weep over a time,

When tyrants and people of aggression rose among the nations,

They united their ranks; was there among them

Anything but eliminating Islam from their duties?!

As for when they stand against the Jews, you will not

See them as anything but herds of sheep!

To them, war is "run and run", forever,

Their armies, their shields of the people's revolt,

They are the tyrants, the heads of humiliation, their cunning

Is the cunning of devils, bodies of darkness,

They fought the banner of Islam and invented

Banners of oppression and their humiliation for the Arabs

The more days passed their rule but dive

Into the depths of disgrace and vengeance,

My heart roams embracing the sighs from its blood,

Its pains pour out sighs from my pain,

Make them a curse that destroys the tyrants and those

Who betrayed the covenants and live like cattle,

Today they write in history an epic

Despite the treason, sins and worries,

Their women have woven the glory of our nation

Widowed and bereaved carrying the orphanhood,

Drowned in an ocean of anguish with no scream seen

They became mountains of patience and determination,

They upheld a covenant so we see it today

And its grave was between al-Quds and dreams,

They became like Khansa’ in sacrifice and devotion

They became, for us, like light in the darkness,

They gifted our nation a generation of heroes

They fed it the pride of the free and the resolute

How many children’s joy they burn

Orphans and displaced or live under the rubble,

But these are the Khansa’s sons, how strange!

A baby’s cry is a horrifying roar to the enemies

Their boys are like lions fearing no confrontation

O for the rocks of might and conquest!

O for the hands that hurl them recoiled!

As if with light they hurl them on the enemies

O for the souls sold sacrificially!

O for the bare chests of illusions!

O for the innocence as it rose terrifying!

O for the hearts that are pure from defeat!

Their youth are the crescent of our nation

Like a star in the desert or the full moon in the darkness

The sound of bombs has become a rhythm for them

O nation drowned in dance and tunes

Passion for martyrdom has scented their hearts

O nation drowned in passion and resolve

They are like falcons, their prey never missed

They are like lions, never fearing nations

Ascetics by night, marvel at their tears

Are they doves or lions before the throngs?!

Or are they the vanguards of good tidings, our victory

Erasing an era of sorrows and vengeance

Good tidings of the Prophet, they revive hearts

Not bothered by traitors or defeated

O Jerusalem, patience, for your sighs have kindled

In the soul of every patriot oppressed

Your blood is dearer to the free than theirs

Tomorrow you will rise against tyranny like raging fire

O Lord, I am counted among its poets so help me

And make me one of its lions in its heated war

O Lord, quench its soil with the blood of a young man

Who hopes to meet You, fulfilling his promises
