I gathered up my sorrows and my pains.
And here I became an advocate of return.
And from the fragrance of the east wind's breeze I led
An army of guidance's fragrant flowers once more.
Enough for youthful dalliance and maidens is what
I have already given of my life and my poems.
A middle-aged man feigned youth—alas for his sorrows!
How long—with neither this world nor life everlasting?
