1. وجهٌ كأنَّ البدرَ ليلةَ تمّهِ

    منهُ استعارَ النُّورَ والإشراقا

    A face as though the full moon on its night of perfection,

    From it, light and radiance are borrowed,

  2. وأَرى عليه حَديقةَ أَضحى لها

    حَدقي وأَحداقُ الأنام نطاقا

    And I see upon it a garden, for which my eyes

    And the eyes of all people have become a meadow.
