لَعُمرَكَ ما سَبَّ الأَميرَ عَدَوُّهُ

وَلكِنَّما سَبَّ الأَميرَ المُبَلِّغُ

By your life! The enemy did not revile the prince.

Rather, it was the talebearer who maligned the prince.
