يا أيها الحاجبُ المُع

تَلِي على كِيوَانِ

O chamberlain, exalted

above Saturn,

ومَن بِهِ قد تَنَاهَى

فَخَارٌ كُلِّ يَمَانِ

and through whom has culminated

the pride of every Yemeni:

العامريّةُ أضحت

كجنَّة الرضوانِ

al-ʿĀmiriyya has become

like the Garden of Riḍwān—

فريدةً لفريدٍ

ما بين أهل الزمانِ

peerless, for one peerless

among the people of the age.
