If I do not comprehend your praise

You have lost to me a hand and a bridle

As for me and the hand of Ibn Mansur together

It is as though it is said a dove and a cloud

Good fortune for him, green, over which cooed

My gratitude as pigeons alight on branches

It suffices me of usefulness your love alone

For it is the riches not what people see
