تَصِلُ السُيوفَ إِذا قَصُرنَ بِخَطوِنا

قُدُماً وَنُلحِقُها إِذا لَم نَلحَقِ

قُدُماً وَنُلحِقُها إِذا لَم نَلحَقِ

You extend the swords, when they fall short, with our strides

The swords join when they fall short of our steps,

Forward; and we make them reach when we do not reach.

Forward we go, to catch up, when we cannot keep pace.
