The tribe has a beauty at Safiha
Who hunts lions unaware of her might
Veiled in horses, eggs, and spears
With a nose more elegant than a falcon's
Sun-like, moon-like eyes
A jewel of her people, a delight in her tent
If she tries to kill a harmless man
Without valor or chivalry
She removes a veil, if removed before
The moon would not cease its eclipse
She wields swords from sickly eyelids
More bewildering magic than magic itself
She sways a figure, if inclined
By beauty surpasses the beauties of Sumrah
She came to kill me while youth aids her
Disturbing with her belly's swaying and waist's bend
She enticed my eyelids and ignited my desires
And provoked the heat of my passion
So here I am, crazed with love of her
Though she burns my heart with separation's agony
Delicate, long of neck, radiant skin
Pure of lineage, sweet of smile
Her breast refused to be touched by waist
Nor her hips to be clasped by belt
As if she had the light of stars on her mouth
Rising with pure Khusrawi wine
May God water the abode at Safiha
With a downpour, continual and plentiful
