A quiet peace fills my melancholy heart
It turns from those near and inclines toward distant ones
"Why don't you sleep?" he asked. I said "No rest
For your displeasure is unlike my custom."
I wish for wakefulness only to see
Your image there, though you are unapproachable.
So when your specter visits me
Only in anger, wakefulness ransoms my woe.
