And we killed Yazd the coward in the morning
When he turned in flight and hid away in fear
The next day we met them in Muroo while they deemed
Themselves like tigers on those mountains and plains
We killed them in a battle that ground them down
The next day at breakfast when they wanted talk
We pressed on their flanks with true thrust of spears
As long as daylight lasted, all day long
By God, were it not for God and none but Him
They would have perished by fate at breakfast time
