تاه في دُنياك تغريدي ولحني

وانطوى في كونَك المَسحُورِ كَوني

Lost in your world is my song and melody

ذاب في عينيك إحساسي وروحي

وهنائي وصباباتي وأمني

Melted in your eyes is my feeling and soul

And my joy, youth, and wishes

أنتَ فيضٌ من حياضِ النَُور زفتْ

حولكَ البُشرى وألوان التمني

You are an outpouring from the basin of light I was wed to

Around you is the good news and colors of longing

سَكِرتْ في روحك العربيد نفسي

وارتوت من شاطئ الأحلام عيني

Intoxicated in your spirit is my soul

And my eyes were saturated from the coast of dreams

فاستفاقَ الفجرُ في بيداء صدري

واحتويت الكونَ في بيداء ظني

So dawn awoke in the desert of my chest

And I contained the universe in the desert of my supposition
