مُوتوا كمَا شاءَ القَدرْ

مِن طعنةٍ أو مِن حَجرْ

Die as fate has willed,

By a stab or by a stone.

موتوا فُرادى أو معًا

في عتمِ ليلٍ أو سَحَرْ

Die one by one or all together,

In the dark of night or before dawn.

وخذوا المقابرَ كلّها

كي تدفنوا جِيَفَ الخَزَرْ

And take all the graveyards,

To bury the carcasses of the Khazars.

نرضى بأن نحيا هنا

من غير ظلٍ أو شجَرْ

We are content to live here

Without shade or trees.

فغدًا نعود وزرعُنا

ينمو على زبْلِ الحُفَرْ

For tomorrow we shall return, and our crop

Will grow upon the dung of the pits.
