نطوي معًا صهوات الليل في شغف

ونرقب الطيف من آن إلى آن

We fold together the cheeks of the night in passion

Together we traverse the ridges of night in passion,

And watch the phantom from moment to moment.

Watching for the phantom vision from moment to moment.

لكِ الحياة وما في الجسم من رمق

ومن دماء ومن روح وجثمان

For you is life and what vigor remains in my body,

Yours is my life, and whatever breath remains in this frame,

What blood, what spirit and corpse.

And whatever blood, spirit, and flesh I possess.

لك الحياة فجودي بالوصال فما

أحلى وصالك في قلبي ووجداني
