Though I advised, you would not believe
My counsel, and recklessly on you cleave,
It seems my advice for your misdeeds
And recklessness leads you astray, I grieve,
How much do I ward you from highwaymen?
As acacias guard the saplings now and then,
Seek not misdeeds against me, keep your aim
True, be it parting or union, my friend,
I'll show your true nature when we part,
And you behold my nature and my heart,
For breaking faith when you turn away
Is to be silent and uncaring, I say
