كَأَنَّما إِنسانُ أَجفانِها
للخمر من تحييرها مدمنُ
As though a man whose eyelids
Are drunk with wine unceasing;
وَلَيسَ إِنساناً وَلَكِنَّه
هاروتُ في مقلتها يَسكُنُ
Yet is no man, but rather
A jinni in her eyes residing.
