1. سلامٌ جزيلٌ نيِّرُ اللفظ شارقُ

    وخط لطيف بالمودةِ فائِقُ

    A warm greeting that illuminates speech

    With gentle words of affection, transcending

  2. وجودة لفظٍ بالتحيةِ مُرْتضَى

    وحُسنُ عباراتٍ رَوَتْها الحقائِقُ

    Kindly phrased greetings pleasing to hear

    And beautiful sentences that convey truths

  3. وأعذبُ من ماءِ الزلالِ على الظمَا

    وأطيبُ من حِبٍّ تَمَنَّاهُ عاشِقُ

    Sweeter than fresh mountain spring water

    And more fragrant than the love of a longing lover

  4. بطِرس بروق الناظرينَ ملاحةَ

    يفوقُ ضياءَ البدرِ أهداهُ شائِقُ

    Your shining eyes dazzle onlookers

    Brighter than the full moon, gifts of an admirer

  5. هُو الفاعلُ المعروف والعرف واللُّهَى

    هُو المرتَضى الزاكِي الشفيقُ المُشافِقُ

    You are the renowned doer and norm and pleasure

    You are the desired, pure, kind, accompanying companion

  6. هوَ ابن الإمامِ العدلِ سُلطان سيفِنا

    أبو العربِ الزاكي الرفيقُ المرافِقُ

    You are the son of the just Imam, our swords' Sultan

    Father of the Arabs, pure, gentle, accompanying friend

  7. فما راتقٌ في الناس ما هو فاتِقُ

    ولا فاتِقٌ في الخلق ما هو راتِقُ

    None in people are composed like you are composed

    None composed in mankind are like you are composed

  8. عقادُك للعافينَ تبرُ وعسجدٌ

    وللمعتدى الباغِي قَناً وسَوَابِقُ

    Your principles bind the prosperous and your holy place

    For the transgressing aggressor is a bow and lightning bolts

  9. وهاكَ سلاماً من صديقٍ مصادِقٍ

    لأنك فينا للحوادثِ صادِقُ

    And here is a greeting from a true friend

    For with us, you are honest in tribulations

  10. عليكَ سلامِي كلَّ حينٍ وساعة

    مدى الدهر كلما ذَرَّ شارِقُ

    My greetings are upon you at all times

    As long as the bright morning star rises

  11. وما سار ركبٌ نحو مكةَ مسرعاً

    وما انصبَّ هطَّالٌ وما هبَّ طارِقُ

    As no riding company speeds to Mecca

    No stallion rears up and no morning breaks

  12. فعش وابقَ من قد أضاءَتْ بنورهِ

    مغابُ أرضِ اللهِ ثمَّ المشارقُ

    So live and remain from one whose light

    Illuminates the faraway lands of God and the horizons
