سُقْتُم كِنانَةَ جَهْلاً مِنْ سَفَاهَتِكُمْ

إلى الرّسُولِ فَجُنْدُ اللهِ مخزيهَا

You led Kinana in ignorance and foolishness

To the Messenger, so God's army will humiliate her

أوْرَدْتُموها حِيَاضَ المَوْتِ ضَاحِيةً

فالنّارُ مَوْعِدُهَا والقَتْلُ لاَقيهَا

You brought her to the valleys of death joyfully

So Fire is her destination and killing will meet her

جمَّعْتُمُوهَا أحابيشاً بلا حَسَبٍ

أَئِمَّةُ الكُفْرِ غَرَّتْكُمْ طَوَاغِيهَا

You gathered her riffraff without lineage

The leaders of unbelief deceived you, her followers

أَلا اعْتَبَرْتُمْ بِخَيْلِ اللهِ إذ قَتَلَتْ

أهْلَ القَلِيبِ وَمَنْ أَلْقَيْنَهُ فِيها

Did you not learn from God's cavalry when they killed

The people of Qalib and whoever we threw in it

كَمْ مِنْ أَسِيرٍ فَكَكْنَاهُ بِلاَ ثَمَنٍ

وجَزِّ نَاصِيةٍ كنَّا مَوَالِيها

How many captives did we free without ransom

And cut off heads we were masters over them
