مَعَاذَ اللهِ مِنْ عَمَلٍ خَبِيثٍ

كَسَعْيِكَ في العَشِيرةِ عَبْدَ عَمْرِو

God forbid an evil deed

Like your effort among the tribe, slave of Amr

فإِمَّا قُلْتَ لي شرفٌ وَنَخْلٌ

فَقِدْماً بِعْتَ إِيماناً بِكُفْرِ

Whether you told me of nobility and palm trees

You have sold faith for unbelief, foot first
