عَرِّج نُحَيَّ بِذي الكُوَيرِ طلولا
أَمسَت مُوَدِّعَةَ العِراصِ حُلولا
Take the winding path to Dhik Alkuwayr at dusk
Bidding farewell to the shelters as day turns to dusk
بِرُبى العَثاعِثِ حَيثُ واجَهَتِ الرُبى
سَنَدَ العَروسِ وَقابَلَت مَهزولا
Among the bushes where the doe met her beloved
Supporting the bride as she faces her fate
وَجَرَت بِها الحُجُجُ الرَمامِسُ فَاِكتَسَت
بَعدَ النَضارَةِ وَحشَةً مَهزولا
The thornbushes grazed her as she passed through
After elegance, now desolate and worn
