    The gambler's voice grew loud,

Reminding me of loved ones and nights of magic,

And the cooing of doves when dawn breaks

Love awoke in us for the homelands.

I said to my friends, "Come now,

Let's seize the moment in this desert!"

Between us circulated cups of wine,

    Basil, roses, and fruit.

The clouds struck tents for us,

    Their canopies covering the wilderness.

The morning breeze passed by us when

It announced the clarity of dawn,

And the eyes of the clouds shed tears,

Cloaking the grasslands in shiny pearl necklaces.

And crowns of smooth stone and tender buds.

Their fragrance wafted through the rainfall,

Perfuming the scent of the barren lands.

The redolence of the Fenugreek at dawn

Reminded me of its fragrance at night.

God bless its soil and water,

And the sweetness of its breeze all day,

And bless its people, noble folk

Of virtue, the pride of honor.
