O Fareed, you have surpassed all peers,

And an unmatched one who has transcended the companions.

You have possessed perfection in body and nature,

And have taken beauty as the best veil.

Be resolute, accept, shed tears, and be safe

From the vicissitudes of time and turns of fate.

The nightingales in the valleys did not sing love songs

In the beauty of the garden with the clarity of clouds.
