    the eyes of the eminent aspire to the furthest reach of its meaning.

  3. Indeed, your explanation has declared it plainly by its very ʿayn;

    so no veil intervenes to prevent the matter’s disclosure.

  4. And if you appointed an ʿayn as the place where it should alight,

    then behold: it is alighting in my eye for your sake.

  5. Morphology has indeed ruled that its ʿayn possesses

    an ornament, while the neck of its fāʾ is bare thereof.

  6. Let my explanation suffice you—it has come perfectly clear;

    and to one such as you, no clues remain hidden.
