ذَا مَوْرِدٌ جاد به

راجي ثوابِ ربِّهِ

This is a generous spring

For one who hopes for his Lord's reward

يوسفُ خوجةُ الرضيّ

صاحب طابع البهيِّ

Yusuf Khawja ar-Radi

The one with a brilliant demeanor

فَخْرِ الْعُلاَ حمّودةٍ

باشا فَذَا من سَيْبِهِ

Pride of the lofty Ula

Pasha, so it is from his sword

من عبدليّةٍ زها

بطيبه وقُرْبِهِ

From Abdaliya, it's brightness

In its purity and proximity

بحسن نيّةٍ ومِنْ

إخلاصه في رَبِّهِ

With good intention and

Sincerity to his Lord

جازاه ربّي جَنَّةً

وكَوْثراً في شُرْبِهِ

May my Lord reward him with Paradise

And an abundance in his drinking

يَا وَارِداً فَادْعُ وَقُل

تاريخه بَشِّرْ بِه

O you who come, pray and say

His date, give good tidings of him
