I came to your door several times seeking permission to enter,
But the door's permission became forbidden to me.
If you forbid me, enjoying the wolf,
By my life, your father has spoken to the wolf before.
So what if the roarer spoke to the beast?
You left people as food and drink.
This lord Siniidi's bloodiness is not hidden,
He speaks to the elephant, ascending and descending.
I am a man from Quraish in its meadows,
The enemies cannot deny me.
Nor does the Abyssinians' kinship suit my morals,
Nor will you see, for ages, my face as strange.
Go away from me, I shall not come to you,
Nor will I find your door sought or seeking.
