عسى رحمة من ربنا تغمر البلد

بها الناس تمسي في نعيم وفي رغد

May mercy from our Lord envelop the land

With it people spend the evening in bliss and plenty

بفضلك يا ربي بجودك خالقي

بلا سبب منا وسعى وكسب يد

By Your grace, my Lord, by Your generosity, my Creator

Without any effort from us, no toil or work of hand

سوى محض إحسان وعفو ومنة

ففضلك لا يحصى بحد ولا عدد

Except pure benevolence, pardon and favor

For Your grace cannot be counted, has no limit or number

أغثنا بغيث يا مغيث وجد به

علينا بمحض الفضل يا رب يا صمد

Relieve us with a downpour, O Reliever, and send

Upon us by pure grace, O Lord, O Eternal

تفضل تفضل يا إلهي وسيدي

بسقيا جميع الأرض من غير ما نكد

Bestow, bestow, O my God and my Master

By watering all the earth without our toil

ومن الهى للجميع بتوبة

نصوح تنير القلب مع سائر الجسد

And inspire in all sincere repentance

That illuminates the heart and all the body

بها ترضى عنا ما حيينا وفي غد

بها نتنعم في الحياة وفي الأبد

With which You become pleased with us as long as we live and tomorrow

With it we enjoy bliss in life and in eternity

بها نشكر النعمى ونستكفىء البلا

بها منه يأتينا المزيد كما وعد

With it we thank the blessings and depend on tribulations

With it more comes to us from Him as He promised

بها نبلغ المطلوب في الدين والدنا

بها نكتفي من شر باغ وذي حسد

With it we attain what is sought in religion and worldly life

With it we suffice from the harm of enemies and the envious

بجاه رسول الله تصلح قلوبنا

ويذهب عنها كل شيء لها فسد

By the status of the Messenger of God, rectify our hearts

And remove from them all that corrupted them

ونحظى بكل الاتباع لهديه

بقول وأعمال وحال ومعتقد

And we attain following his guidance in all ways

In words, deeds, state and beliefs

عليه صلاة الله ثم سلامه

مع الآل والأصحاب ما منشد نشد

Blessings and peace be upon him

And his family and companions for as long as verses are recited

ولله ربي الحمد دأبا وسرمدا

عدد نعم المولى على كل ذي جسد

And to my Lord belongs praise always and forever

Counting the blessings of the Patron upon every being
