عظيم الفضل يا رب

كفى علمك كفى حسبي

Great is Your grace, O Lord

Your knowledge suffices me

بما لاقيت من هم

وما عاينت من كرب

With the worries I have faced

And the sorrows I have seen

كريم الوجه كن عوني

فقد أثقلني ذنبي

Be kind to me, O Noble One

For my sins have burdened me

فذنبي قد كوى جنبي

وذنبي قد شوى قلبي

My sins have seared my side

And scorched my heart

ومالي مهرب الا

إلى جودك يا محبي

I have no refuge

Except in Your kindness, O my Love

ولي طمع ولي رجوى

لفضل واسع رحب

I am hopeful, I wish

For Your abundant grace

وحسن الظن أولى لي

وإن قصرت في الكسب

Good thoughts become me

Though I fall short in deeds

فلا يدري ولا يحكي

بما في باطني مخبي

None can know or tell

What I hide within

عسى المولى عسى المعطي

عسى ربي عسى ربي

May my Master, may the Giver

May my Lord, may my Lord

يوفقني يسددني

ويحفظني ويلطف بي

Guide me, make me steadfast

Protect and favor me

ويغفر لي ويرحني

ويحرسني من السلب

Forgive and comfort me

Save me from all loss

ويعطيني ويغنيني

ويحميني من العطب

Grant and enrich me

Shield me from all harm

ويختم لي بالحسنى

إذا حان انقضانحبي

And seal my end with good

When my days are spent

وصلى الله على الهادي

محمد خير من نبي

عظيم الخلق والخلق

شفيع الخلق في الكرب

Great in nature and character

Intercessor for people in need

وتسليم عليه ما

همي ودق من السحب

Greetings to his family

Companions and friends

يعم الآل والأزوا

ج والانصار والصحب
