Claude 2

  1. لك الخير يا عثمان وفقت للرشد

    وللمسلك المحمود في الفعل والقصد

    You have done well, Othman, as you have attained righteousness

    And the praised course in deed and purpose

  2. وللعلم والتعليم والبر والهدى

    وللمنهج المرضي للواحد الفرد

    And knowledge and education and righteousness and guidance

    And the agreeable approach of the One, the Unique

  3. طريق رسول الله بيضا نقية

    حنيفية تهدي إلى جنة الخلد

    The path of the Messenger of God, pure and immaculate

    Hanifiyyah that guides to the Garden of Eternity

  4. وقد قال يوصينا عليكم بسنتي

    وسنة من يأتي من الخلفاء بعدي

    And he said, enjoining us concerning you

    And the Sunnah of whoever comes after me of the caliphs

  5. فعضوا عليها بالنواجد ثم من

    أتى بسواها قابلوا ذاك بالرد

    So adhere to it vigorously, then whoever

    Comes with other than it, meet that with rejection

  6. فشر الأمور في الورى محدثاتها

    وخير الأمور ملة الهادي المهدي

    For the worst of matters in existence are their innovations

    And the best of matters is the religion of the Guide, the Rightly-Guided

  7. ألامالنا نترك سنة أحمد

    ونسعى إلى الشر المؤبد بالعمد

    Why should we abandon the Sunnah of Ahmad

    And strive towards eternal evil deliberately?

  8. وسنة طه شرحها جاء واضحا

    باحيا علوم الدين من غير ما جحد

    And the Sunnah of Taha has been clearly explained

    Reviving thereby the religious sciences without any rejection

  9. فهل عامل أو راغب يطلب الهدى

    مع الصدق والاخلاص والصبر والجد

    Is there then a worker or seeker desiring guidance

    With truthfulness, sincerity, patience and effort

  10. يباين كل الخلق في كل ماأتوا

    به محدثا ليس على الحق والرشد

    Differing from all people in everything they have come with

    Innovated, not based on truth and righteousness?

  11. فآه وآه ليت لي بعض قدوة

    بسيدنا الهادي وصحبه ذوى المجد

    Oh woe is me! If only I had some role models

    In our master the Guide and his companions of glory

  12. أفوز بهادينا وأخرى بلا مرا

    ويصلح بها قلبي وأبلغ بها قصدي

    I would succeed through our guide and have no further aim

    And my heart would be reformed and my purpose attained

  13. بها نفحات الله تأتي مع الرضا

    وتأتي علوم ليس تحصر بالعد

    Through it the breezes of God come with pleasure

    And unattainable knowledge comes

  14. ونسأل مولانا بمن بتوبة

    علينا يبلغنا بها غاية السعد

    And we ask our Master, hoping for repentance

    Through which we may attain the utmost happiness

  15. ويغفر لنا ولوالدينا وأهلنا

    وأولادنا والأقر بين وذي الود

    And that He may forgive us, our parents, our family

    And dear ones and those of affection

  16. ويرحمنا والمسلمين جميعهم

    ويحفظنا من شر ذي الغل والحقد

    And have mercy on us and all Muslims

    And protect us from the evil of the hostile and hateful

  17. وإن يتوفانا على دين أحمد

    ويبعثنا تحت لواه لوا الحمد

    And if He takes our souls in the religion of Ahmad

    And resurrects us under His banner, that of praise

  18. عليه صلاة الله ثم سلامه

    عدد قطرات الماء والبرق والرعد

    Upon him be the prayers and peace of God

    As numerous as drops of water, lightning and thunder

  19. مع الآل والأصحاب مع نابع لهم

    وعفو الهى للذي أخفى وما أبدى

    Along with his family and companions, those loyal to them

    And the pardon of my God for what I have hidden and disclosed
