  1. عيدروس اشرح بالك واترك الهم والغم

    واحمد الله واذكر ما به الله أنعم

    Eidroos, relieve your heart and leave worries and sorrows

    Thank Allah and remember what blessings Allah has bestowed

  2. لا تلفت إلى من قالوا أنه معه جم

    والله إنه سبب للشوش في ذه وفي ثم

    Do not pay attention to those who said they have an army

    By Allah, it is the cause of turmoil here and there

  3. إن في القل راحة يا يجدها الذي ضم

    إيش تبغي بما يفضل على لقمة الفم

    In the heart there is tranquility that the one who contains finds

    What more do you want than a morsel to eat?

  4. والذي يستر العوره ولا هو محرم

    كلها عابره كم أنت من نسل آدم

    He who conceals disgrace though he is not forbidden

    It is all fleeting, how many are you from the children of Adam?

  5. واترك الناس واجعل مدحهم لك كما الذم

    وافرح إلا إذا قالوا مبدل مشقطم

    And leave the people and make their praise of you like their dispraise

    And rejoice unless they say you are fickle

  6. إذذا والله المغنم لمن كان يفهم

    الشفافي التوحش والتخالط بهم سم

    If so, by Allah success is for those who understand

    Seclusion and socializing with them is poison

  7. اغتنم ساعتك واجعل همومك أخي هم

    همك الله وحده ما سوى الله يعدم

    Seize your moment and make your worries, my brother, worries

    Your concern is Allah alone, nothing besides Allah remains

  8. ما سوى الله ينفع ولوخال أوعم

    خلهم واقبل على الله والزم

    Nothing besides Allah benefits even if intimate or strange

    Leave them and turn to Allah and persevere

  9. واتبع سيرة الأسلاف مثل المقدم

    وابنه ذاك علوي مع على المعظم

    And follow the path of the predecessors like Al-Muqaddam

    And his son Alawwi with Almighty Ali

  10. ثم مولى الدويله والوجيه الذي عم

    نوره الأرض والسكران وابنه ومن لم

    Then the Lord of the State and the honorable one who

    His light filled the earth and the intoxicated and his son and who

  11. يأتنا مثله أغني الوجيه إفهم إعلم

    ما يقوله بنثره والكلام المنظم

    None like him came to us, I sing the honorable one, understand and know

    What he says in his prose and rhymed speech

  12. نوركله فسر به إن سبيلك بك أظلم

    والحذر من عوايد مثل نارتوهجم

    May your light explain it if your path with you is darker

    And beware the habits like flaming fire

  13. ما هي إلا كما قال من قد تقدم

    واعلم أن العوايد في تعوادها السم

    They are nothing but what the predecessor said

    And know the habits in their persistence are poison

  14. وآخرة كل من تابع عوايده يندم

    واطلب العلم واعمل به إذا شئت تغنم

    And the end of everyone who follows his habits regrets

    And seek knowledge and act on it if you want success

  15. واتبع سنة البدر المنير المتمم

    صفوة آدم عليه الله صلى وسلم

    And follow the way of the shining full moon

    The elite of Adam, may Allah bless and grant him peace

  16. والصحابه وآله ما معلم تعلم

    أو همي المزن أو حادي حدا أو ترنم

    And his companions and progeny what a teacher taught

    Or occupy my mind or guide a limit or chant

  17. وادع لي عيدروس إن كنت ترثى وترحم

    إنني غارق مدنف عسى أنجو وأسلم

    And pray for me, Eidroos, if you grieve and have mercy

    I am drowning, inundated, hopefully I will be saved and submit

  18. واطلب الله لا تطلب سوى الرب الأكرم

    يختم العمر بالحسنى إذا عمرناتم

    And seek Allah, do not seek other than the Most Generous Lord

    To conclude life with goodness when our life is complete

  19. نرتجيه تعالى أن يقول لنا تم

    فضل منه تعالى مثل ما قد تكرم

    We hope the Exalted will say to us “It is complete”

    Superiority from Him Exalted like He has generously bestowed
