1. الحمدلله لا يحصى على الله ثناه

    سبحانه عز سلطانه تعالى علاه

    Praise be to Allah, His praise cannot be counted

    Glory be to Him, mighty is His kingdom, exalted is His highness

  2. ثم الصلاة مع التسليم عد العضاه

    على النبي رسول الله ختم أنبياه

    Then salutations and peace be upon the best of creation

    Upon the Prophet, messenger of Allah, the seal of prophets

  3. والآل والصحب والاتباع له وأولياه

    وبعد فالنصح ينصت له من الله هداه

    And upon his family, companions, and followers

    Now the advice - listen to it, O Allah guide him

  4. يا صاح بانصحك قاطع قاطعين الصلاه

    هم الشياطين والقوم العتاة العصاه

    O friend, I advise you, cut off those who cut off the prayer

    They are devils and disobedient transgressors

  5. هم جند ابليس والحزب القساة النساة

    احذر تجالسهم أو ترضى الطغاة البغاه

    They are the army of Iblis and the hardened sinners

    Beware of sitting with them or being pleased with the oppressive tyrants

  6. احذر تخالطهم أنى لك نصيح وناه

    احذر تجيهم سوى للنصح خذها وصاه

    Beware of mingling with them wherever you are, this is sincere advice

    Beware of drawing close to them except to advise - take this counsel

  7. اقرأ كلام الله إن كنت من أهل القراه

    واسمع أحاديث طه ذي روتها الرواه

    Read the words of Allah if you are of the people of recitation

    And listen to the narrations of Taha (Prophet Muhammad) related by narrators

  8. من لم يصل فهو كافر ويوم لقاه

    لله يلقاه غضبان عليه الإله

    Whoever does not pray is an infidel, and when the day comes to meet Him

    He will meet Allah angry with him

  9. هي رأس الإسلام من يقطعه ماله حياه

    من لم يصل فقط اخطا طريق النجاه

    It is the foundation of Islam, whoever abandons it has no life

    Whoever does not pray has only erred from the path of salvation

  10. من لم يصل مع فرعون يبعث نراه

    ويكتب اسمه بباب النار دار الشقاه

    Whoever does not pray will be resurrected with Pharaoh - we will see him

    And his name will be written at the gates of Hell, the home of misery

  11. وابليس صاحبه ماله منه ميل أوتباه

    يلقيه في كل ورطه ذي تقطع عراه

    And Iblis will be his companion, he has no inclination or desire for him

    He will throw him into every trouble that will cut off his excuse

  12. هي ركن الإسلام ياذا لا تكن عنه ساه

    وهي عموده كذا جاعن رواة ثقاه

    It is a pillar of Islam - O you who do not be neglectful of it

    And it is its column, as the trustworthy narrators have stated

  13. مايترك الفرض إلا من قدالله عماه

    وسوف يندم إذا غر غروجات الوفاه

    None abandons the obligation except those whom Allah has blinded

    And he will regret when the afflictions of death overcome him

  14. وزادد فنوه في قبره وجايسالاه

    فيه نكير مع منكروبه عذباه

    And his sins increase in his grave and he faces a dreadful state

    Wherein he will face the questioning of Munkar and Nakeer and be punished

  15. يصيح في القبر ياويلاه ياحسرتاه

    يظل يبكي ولا ينفعه شيء بكاه

    He will cry out in the grave, "Oh woe to me! Oh my anguish!"

    He will remain weeping but his weeping will not benefit him at all

  16. علاه تترك صلاتك ياابن آدم علاه

    قم صل مادمت عادك في فسيح الحياه

    Will you abandon your prayer, O son of Adam, will you?

    Stand and pray as long as you are able in the expansiveness of life

  17. قم صل من قبل موتك والكفن والنعاه

    قم صل من قبل يأتيك المنيه فجاه

    Stand and pray before your death, shroud, and funeral

    Stand and pray before the appointed time of death suddenly comes upon you

  18. قم صلها في الجماعه واستمع للدعاه

    تفضل على المنفرد عشرين وازيد صلاه

    Pray in congregation and listen to the call to prayer

    It is superior to praying alone by twenty prayers or more

  19. واستنج ثم أنونيتك الوضو للصلاه

    وعمم الوجه وابعد مانجد من أذاه

    Make ablution, cleanse yourself for prayer

    Wipe your face and keep away any harm

  20. ثم اغسل يديك وابلغ في العضد منتهاه

    ثم امسح الرأس واحسن غسل رجلك وراه

    Then wash your hands to the elbows

    Then wipe your head and wash your feet and what is behind them well

  21. ومن عليه حدث أكبر لموجب أتاه

    فليغسل الجسم كله لا يبقى قذاه

    Whoever has a major impurity for an obligation that has come upon him

    Let him wash his entire body, leaving no filth

  22. شعرا وبشراو ينوي رفعه في ابتداه

    وطهر الجسم والثوب الذي قد علاه

    Including hair and skin, intending to remove it from the start

    And purify the body and garment that he put on

  23. والبقعة اللي عليها باتناجي الإله

    من النجاسات والحرمه والاشتباه

    And the spot that was contaminated, O my God

    From filth, prohibition, and doubt

  24. واستر لعورتك واحذر من صلاة العراء

    يبطل صلاته بكشف الستر والله عطاه

    And cover your nakedness and beware of praying naked

    It invalidates the prayer to uncover the cover - Allah has granted it

  25. وصل في الوقت لا قبله ولا هي قفاه

    إلا لنوم واكراه وجمع وساه

    Pray on time, not before or after it

    Except for sleep, coercion, combining, or forgetfulness

  26. وميز الفرض من مسنونها باقتفاه

    واستقبل الكعبة الغرا بحسن انتباه

    And distinguish between the obligatory and optional with following

    And face the Honorable Kaaba properly with awareness

  27. واحذر تحرك وجانب مبطلات الصلاه

    كالأكل والشرب والأقوال لو نحواه

    And beware of moving or sides that invalidate the prayer

    Like eating, drinking, or speech even if you intend it

  28. واغسل القلب سبعا من جميع الدناه

    واقبل على الله واترك كل شيء سواه

    And cleanse the heart seven times from all sins

    And turn to Allah, leaving everything else behind

  29. وانو وكبر وقم واقرأ بأحسن قراه

    للفاتحة وافهم المعنى لما الله تلاه

    Intend, say Allahu Akbar and stand, recite in the best recitation

    The Fatiha, understand its meaning that Allah recited

  30. واركع ورض في ركوعك لا تكن صاح لاه

    ثم اعتدل واحمد المولى على ماحباه

    Bow and remain steady in your bowing, do not be inattentive

    Then rise upright and praise the Lord for what He has granted you

  31. واسجد وأحسن وسبح من تعالى علاه

    واجلس ورض واسأل الغفران ربك عساه

    And prostrate, excelling, and glorify the Exalted

    And sit and be content and ask your Lord for forgiveness, may He forgive you

  32. وبعده اجلس مع حسن الأدب للإله

    واقرا التحيات خذها من ثقاة كماه

    And after it, sit with good manners for Allah

    And recite the greetings, take them from reliable narrators as they are preserved

  33. ورح تعلم ولا ترضى بجهل العماه

    وبعد صل على الهادي بأفضل صلاه

    Seek knowledge and do not be content with the blindness of ignorance

    Then send prayers on the guide in the best way

  34. ثم ادع ربك باذكار روتها الرواه

    وبعد سلم ورتبها على ماحكاه

    Then supplicate to your Lord with the remembrances narrated

    And afterwards say the tasleem and perform it as He described

  35. في النظم واسلك سبيل العلم نهج النجاه

    عليك بالعلم واعمل به تنل ماتشاه

    In prose, and follow the path of knowledge, the course of salvation

    Acquire knowledge and act upon it to attain what you desire

  36. دنيا وأخرى وتعطي من إلهك رضاه

    فالعلم نور وأبصار وظل حياه

    Worldly and next, and your Lord will give you His satisfaction

    For knowledge is light, insight, and the shade of life

  37. والجهل موت عمي ظلمه بذا الله هجاه

    والجهل عله وليس إلا التعلم دواه

    While ignorance is death, blindness - its darkness, may Allah protect us

    And ignorance is sickness, nothing cures it but learning

  38. ما أقبح الجهل ما اشتمه وماأوحش رباه

    فرض على كل مسلم علم وصف الإله

    How ugly is ignorance! How foul and lonely are its people!

    It is an obligation on every Muslim to know the attributes of Allah

  39. وأنه فرد عالم قادر ما كماه

    وأنه أرسل رسول الله سيد الهداه

    That He is One, All-Knowing, Capable, Perfect

    And that He sent the Messenger of Allah, master of guides

  40. محمد بن عبدالله خير الدعاه

    ولد بمكة ووحى الله فيها أتاه

    Muhammad ibn Abdullah, best of callers

    Born in Makkah and Allah revealed to him there

  41. وهجرته للمدينه ثم فيها الوفاه

    وعلم أحكام شرع الله مما نهاه

    And his migration to Madinah, then in it was his passing

    And he taught the rulings of Allah's Law from what He forbade

  42. عنه ومما أمر به حتم لا مساواه

    أو شيء أراده كمثل أحكام بيعه شراه

    And from what He ordered, determined with no substitution

    Or anything He intended such as rulings of sales and purchases

  43. وعلم أحوال هذا القبر واللي وراه

    أمر مهول يشيب الطفل حين يراه

    And he taught the states of the grave and what comes after

    A tremendous matter that makes the child turn gray when he sees it

  44. كالحشر والنشر والوزن لما قد جناه

    والجسر والحوض والنيران دار الشقاه

    Like the gathering, resurrection, weighing of deeds

    And the bridge, basin, fires - home of the miserable

  45. مع جنان خلقها ربنا لأولياه

    ثم على الشخص فرض أن يعلم نساه

    Along with gardens created by our Lord for His allies

    Then it is obligatory on the individual to teach his women

  46. وأولاده ثم جيرانه ومن قدر آه

    تارك لشي من أمور الدين أوشى أتاه

    And children, then neighbors, and whoever he is able

    Leaving nothing of the matters of religion or anything that has come to him

  47. وهو محرم فينهاه كما الله نهاه

    بالرفق واللطف نصحا لا يعنف أخاه

    That is forbidden so he forbids it as Allah forbade

    Gently and kindly - advising, not harming his brother

  48. واكسب حلالا وجانب جانب الإشتباه

    وزك مالك فثالث ركن ركن الزكاه

    And earn what is lawful and avoid doubtful matters

    And purify your wealth - the third pillar, pillar of zakat

  49. وصم لفرضك وحج البيت طف في فناه

    ولازم الذكر لله أن أردت ولاه

    And fast your obligation and make pilgrimage, revolving around its courtyard

    And hold fast to the remembrance of Allah if you want His guardianship

  50. فالذكر لله يجلي عن فؤادك صداه

    والذكر لله يحيى القلب بل هو غذاه

    For the remembrance of Allah clears worries from your heart

    The remembrance of Allah gives life to the heart, rather it is its nourishment

  51. يستثمر الذكر من يذكر قريب جناه

    وللمساجد بيوت الله حرمه وجاه

    The one who remembers reaps its benefits, soon its harvest

    Give the mosques - houses of Allah - their sanctity and prestige

  52. وقد بنت للعبادة فاعطها مقتضاه

    وزائر الله في بيته وجب له قراه

    They were built for worship so give them their due

    Whoever visits Allah in His house is owed recitation

  53. فعظموها بفعل الخير مما ارتضاه

    وعطروها بكل رائحه مشتهاه

    So honor them by doing good that He approves

    And scent them with every fragrance you desire

  54. ونزهوها عن أقوال الخنا والدناه

    وكل مستقذر أو رائحه مشتناه

    And keep them pure from immoral speech and humbleness

    And everything offensive or a smell that stinks

  55. وكل شيء فهو ينضح بمافي أناه

    وعادني أوصيك ياطالب سبيل النجاه

    For everything exudes what is within it

    And I advise you, O seeker of the path of salvation

  56. وراغبا في السلامه كف هذى اللهاه

    فما يكب الخلائق في جهنم سواه

    And desirer of well-being, restrain this nonsense

    What destroys mankind into Hellfire besides it?

  57. وكل من كان يؤمن يا فتى بالإله

    واليوم الآخر فيصمت أو يقل ما يراه

    Whoever believes in Allah, O youth, and the Last Day

    Will remain silent or say only what he sees as good

  58. خيرا محقق ويترك كل قول عداه

    هذا ومن حسن إسلام الفتى أن تراه

    Truthful, and leave all other speech

    This one's Islam is good when he is seen

  59. تارك لما ليس يعنيه مجانب حماه

    وصن بطنك ولا تطلقه فيما اشتهاه

    Leaving what does not concern him, avoiding nonsense

    Protect your stomach and do not unleash it in what it desires

  60. فأملي قط شر من وعاء خلاه

    حسب ابن آدم لقيمات يقمن قواه

    For I have never seen evil from an empty vessel

    It is enough for the son of Adam to stand up for his strength

  61. وكل شر فملىء البطن أصل ابتداه

    ذا من حلال فكيف السحت والإشتباه

    And every evil fills the stomach - its origin began

    This is from the lawful, so what of the doubtful and prohibited?

  62. إن الورع ساس هذا الدين فاحكم بناه

    ياويل من قد قسا قلبه كأنه حصاه

    Indeed, piety is the foundation of this religion, so build upon it

    Oh woe to those whose hearts have hardened like stones

  63. ما عاد يسمع ولا يرجع لداع دعاه

    لا هي بدنيا دنيه هام فيها وتاه

    They no longer listen or return to one who calls them

    They are not in the lowly worldly life, wandering lost within it

  64. غرته الأمال وابليسه وقاده هواه

    ولا معه قط من دنياه إلا عناه

    Deceived by hopes and Iblis, led by their desires

    And they have of it only exhaustion, anxiety, preoccupation, and oppression of rulers

  65. والهم والغم والشغله وظلم الولاه

    إن الهنا والغنى إلا كبر وطيب الحياه

    Indeed, happiness and riches are only pride and wholesome life

    For every heart of integrity - its light is its purity

  66. لكل قلب سليم زادنوره صفاه

    طوبى لعبد من الطاعات نحر ملاه

    Good tidings to the servant who fills his life with obedience

    Love of good and good people are his strength and water

  67. محبة الخير وأهل الخير قوته وماه

    آيب وتايب من الذنب الذي قد جناه

    Regretful and repentant of sins he has committed

    Fearful of his sins, hoping Allah will forgive his mistakes

  68. خائف ذنوبه يرجو الله يغفر خطاه

    صابروشا كروراضي بالذي له قضاه

    Patient, thankful, satisfied with what is decreed for him

    Busy with Allah, not busy with anything else

  69. مشغول بالله لم يشغل بشيء سواه

    وليس له قصد أو مطلوب إلا رضاه

    Having no intention or desire except His pleasure

    Crying, weeping over his shortcomings, ah ah

  70. ينوح يبكي على تقصيره آه آه

    خذا من الناس في جانب عطاهم قفاه

    Taking from people in an aspect of giving them their dues

    And did not say what did people say or do, ah

  71. ولم يقل ايش قال الناس أو فعلوا آه

    مراقب الله كأنه للمهيمن يراه

    Observing Allah as if the Watcher sees him

    You see him up at night, not resting from recitation

  72. تراه في الليل ساهر ما تهنى كراه

    خامل في الناس من دنياه ما جاكفاه

    Humble among people, of the worldly life not avaricious

    The treasure of contentment, his belongings overflowing from it

  73. كنز القناعة متاعه فاض منها وعاه

    تجرع الصبر أيام البقا والحياه

    He drank patience in the days of life

    For courage is only an hour before destruction comes

  74. فما الشجاعه سوى ساعه وجات البتاه

    هذا هو العز ليس الغزمال وجاه

    This is honor, not boastful pride and prestige

    Nor wearing silk, gold, and adornment

  75. ولا بلبس الحرير والذهب والهياه

    واعلم بأنك في وقت كثير بلاه

    And know that you are in a time of great tribulation

    Religion has diminished, and goodness diminished, and life diminished

  76. قد قل دينه ومعروفه وقل حياه

    وزاد شاع التبرج في النسا والجراه

    And displaying tabarruj (wanton display) increased among women and immoral ones

    They do not fear Allah or the words of detractors

  77. ماخافوا الله ولا خافوا مقال الشناه

    فلا يجوز لمراه مؤمنه بالإله

    It is not permissible for a believing woman in Allah

    To show to a non-mahram beyond her youth

  78. تظهر على أجنبي قد تعدى صباه

    هذا ولو لم تكن ريبه ولا مشتهاه

    Even if she has no doubt or desire

    Nor going out perfumed such that its fragrance spreads

  79. ولا البروز مع عطر يفوح شذاه

    ولا التبرج بالزينه كفعل الجفاه

    Nor tabarruj with adornment like the actions of the immoral

    Nor going out with exposure of anything the Law prohibited

  80. ولا الخروج مع كشف لشيء أباه

    الشرع فاتبع لشرع الله دع ما عداه

    So follow the Law of Allah, leave whatever opposes it

    And doing what prevents purification during prayer

  81. وفعل ما يمنع التطهير عند الصلاه

    وكالنياحه على الميت وصوت النعاه

    Like wailing for the deceased and the voice of lamentation

    Also shortening the garment, how ugly is that display!

  82. كذاك تقصير وجه الثوب ما أقبح زراء

    مكشفات كماجا كاسيات عراه

    Exposing like the naked though clothed

    Most despised state, she earns everyone's rejection

  83. أخسس بها حالة حازت لكل رداه

    زينها إبليس حسنها لهم باغتواه

    Iblis adorned it, its beauty deceived them

    Those who follow custom have failed, wasted their guidance

  84. قد خاب من تابع العاده وضيع هداه

    إن العوايد لدين الله سمه وداه

    Customs are poison to the religion of Allah

    Seeking people's pleasure, not attaining His reward

  85. يطلب رضا الناس منهم ليس يدرك مناه

    بل فاز بالذم من ربه ومنهم شفاه

    But earning condemnation from his Lord and their lips

    Can such a state be satisfactory for one whose argument is complete?

  86. فهل ترى يرتضى ذا الحال كامل حجاه

    وسورة النور فيها أي زاجروناه

    And Surat An-Nur wherein is that which deters and prohibits

    And remember the verse in Al-Ahzab guiding the blind

  87. وعاد آيه في الأحزاب تهدى العماه

    لكل من كان يخشى الله يرجو النجاه

    For all who fear Allah, hoping for salvation

    I see the times have things that make life burdensome

  88. إني أرى الوقت فيه أشيا تمل الحياه

    من التهاون بأمر الله فيما تلاه

    Of leniency in Allah's commands, in what He recited

    And every person giving in to vain desire, his head filled

  89. وكل شخص عطاشفه ورأسه ملاه

    وتابع الشح والأهواو وكثر العكاه

    And following greed and whims, and mockery multiplied

    Oppression is darkness on the Day of Judgment, its recompense

  90. فالظلم ظلمات في يوم القيامه جزاه

    وسوف يندم على ما قدمته يداه

    He will regret what his hands put forth

    The people of usury, war is ordained for them with affliction

  91. وأهل الربا حل حرب الله لهم مع بلاه

    ولعنة الله على المربى مع شاهداه

    And Allah's curse is upon the usurer along with his witnesses

    And loss, ruin, bankruptcy coming soon, he will see it

  92. والسحق والمحق والإفلاس عاجل يراه

    والعار والنار في أخراه عاده وراه

    And disgrace and Fire in the end following him, before him

    The foundation of all sins is love of debased worldly life

  93. ورأس كل الخطايا حب دنيا الدناه

    فاسمع على سنة المختار سيد الهداه

    So listen to the Sunnah of the Chosen One, master of guides

    Take it in summary and detail from one who wants it

  94. خذها بالأجمال والتفصيل من هو يشاه

    عليه باحيا علوم الدين يلق مناه

    Upon you - revive the religious sciences - you will attain benefit

    And every sower will reap tomorrow what he planted

  95. وكل زارع سيحصد في غد ماذراه

    فمن ذرى برجاله بر أو شوك جاه

    Whoever sows good or thorns comes forth

    And whatever he contrives, it is on the Day of Resurrection his dress

  96. وما يحوكه فهو يوم القيامه كساه

    فلا يلم غير نفسه من وجد ماأساه

    So none blames but himself for what he finds displeasing

    And let him praise Allah his Lord for what He has granted him

  97. وليحمدالله ربه من بفضله حباه

    هذا مقالي وماقولي كقول النحاه

    This is my speech, and my words are not like the words of grammarians

    He told me, he said look at all his speech entirely

  98. قد قال لي قال شف كل كلامه كماه

    وقد تعذرت من نظمي وركة بناه

    And I have failed in my composition and the arrangement of its structure

    So overlook my faults, and if you wish then say what you want

  99. فاستر عيوبي وإن شئته فقل ما تشاه

    دع المقالات والقائل وخذ ماعناه

    Leave off speech and speakers, and take the meaning

    O Lord, O Lord, O Hearer of those who call

  100. يارب يارب ياسامع دعا من دعاه

    نسألك تختم لنا بالخير عند الوفاه

    We ask You to conclude with good for us at the time of death

    And be for us when we are resurrected barefoot, naked

  101. وكن لنا عند ما نحشر حفاة عراه

    وعافنا واعف عنا واعط كل رجاه

    And give us well-being, and pardon us, and give all their hopes

    And save us all from the pitfalls of desire

  102. وأنقذ الكل منامن مهاوي هواه

    وكل ظالم إلهي كف عنا أذاه

    And every oppressor, my God, restrain his harm

    And I seek forgiveness from Allah for much frivolous speech

  103. واستغفر الله من قول كثير افتراه

    يبدي أمورا ويخفى ضد ما قد بداه

    That mentions matters and hides the opposite of what it has mentioned

    And send peace, my Lord, and blessings morning and evening

  104. وصل ربي وسلم بالمسا والغداه

    على رسولك بي القاسم شفيع العصاه

    Upon Your Messenger the intercessor for sinners

    And his family, companions, and followers in emulating him

  105. والآل والصحب والتابع لهم في اقتفاه

    والحمدلله مبدا قولنا وانتهاه

    And praise be to Allah, the beginning of our words and their end
