يا من له الحول والقوه

يا من إذا شاء أمرا كان

O You Who has power and strength

O You Who when He wills a thing, it happens

يا من له الطول والقدره

ياربنا ياعظيم الشان

O You Who has generosity and ability

Our Lord, O Glorious in rank

يادائم الفضل والمعروف

وإن كثر مننا العصيان

O Ever Bountiful and Beneficent

Though we disobey frequently

ياعالم الحال ياستار

ياغافر الذنب يارحمن

O All-Knowing of conditions, O Hider

O Forgiver of sins, O Most Merciful

نسهو ونلهو ولا تقطع

عنا عطاياك يامنان

We slip and play, but do not cut off

Your blessings from us, O Bestower

نعصي فتستر ولا تظهر

سوى الجميل مدى الأزمان

We disobey, yet You conceal and do not expose

Except good, for aeons of time

يارب يابرياتواب

أمنن بتوبة علينا الآن

O Lord, O Accepter of repentance

Grant us repentance over us now

ترضى بها يا علي عنا

رضا به نبلغ الإحسان

Be pleased with it, O Most High over us

With it may we attain utmost excellence

فالعمر ياربنا ولي

وفات في اللهو والنسيان

For life, our Lord, has passed

In play and forgetfulness

بل في معاصي وفي أشيا

ذي فعلها يرضى الشيطان

Nay, in disobedience and deeds

Pleasing for Satan when done

نعوذ بالله خالقنا

نلوذ بالمفضل الحنان

We take refuge with God, our Creator

And flee to the Benevolent, the Affectionate

من كل شيء يبعدنا

عن ربنا كائنا ما كان

From all that takes us far

From our Lord, whatever it may be

ونسأل الله يصلحنا

في القلب والقول والأركان

And we ask God to reform us

In heart, speech and pillars

ويختم العمر بالحسنى

ويكبت الحاسد الشنان

And conclude our life in goodness

And suppress the envious slanderer

ويكفي الباغي الظالم

بما يشا إنه ذوالشان

And suffice the wrongdoing oppressor

With what He wills, He is Almighty

فكم منع كم دفع عنا

ورد كيد العدى خسران

So how much He has prevented, how much repelled from us

And foiled the enemy's deceit, frustrate­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­d

فضلا ومنا وإحسانا

من واسع الجود والإحسان

Grace, favor and benevolence

From the Vast Generosity and Kindness

عودتنا ربنا زدنا

من فضلك الفائض الهتان

Return us, our Lord, increase us

From Your overflowing remarkable favor

وهب لنا الشكر للنعما

لكي تدوم مدى الأحيان

And grant us gratitude for blessings

That it may last for ages

واشف إلهي لنا مرضى

من كل أوجاعهم بأمان

And heal, my God, our sick

From all their pains, securely

أصلح قلوبا وأجسادا

في شكر في عفوف ي غفران

Reform hearts and bodies

In thanks, in pardon, in forgiveness

واصلح الوالي أرشده

للعدل في البدوو البلدان

And reform the ruler, guide him

To justice in cities and lands

سدد ووفق وأيده

بالمال والجند والخلان

Direct, grant success and support him

With wealth, army and allies

ونصرة الشرع والمظلوم

والجبر والغوث للهفان

And aid of Sacred Law and wronged

And relief, succor for the yearning

ننال بالشافع المقبول

ماليس يخطر بقلب إنسان

We attain through the intercessor accepted

What no heart of human imagines

صلى وسلم ذو العرش

عليه والآل والأخذان

Bless and send peace on the Owner of the Throne

Upon him, his Family and Companions

ماهبت الريح واهتزت

من أجلها النخل والاغصان

As long as the wind blows and shakes

The palms and branches

والحمدلله لا نحصى

ثناه بالحد والحسبان

And praise be to God, we cannot count

His praise by limit or reckoning

لك الحمداله العالمين

على فرج أنى سنين

To You belongs praise, God of all worlds

For relief of what years have passed

زوال المفسدين من تريم

بلاد الصالحين والعارفين

Of the corrupters' demise from Tarim

Land of the righteous and the gnostics

فكم قد أخربوا فيها وعاثوا

وكم قد أهلكوا دنيا ودينا

How much they destroyed and ravaged

And how many they ruined world and faith

وكم قد علموا أخلاق سوء

فشت في الأبعدين والأقربينا

And how much evil morals they taught

Spread among near and far

وكم قد روعوا من غير جرم

أناسا صالحين وعابدينا

And how much they frightened without crime

Righteous, worshipping people

لك الحمد إلهي ماحيينا

على هذا يدوم وميتينا

Yours is praise, my God, that You gave us life

For this to last and took our souls

ووفقنا لشكرك مابقينا

وعبرنا على الخوف آمنينا

And enabled us to thank You while we remain

And to live unafraid, secure

ولا ترنا إلهي قط سوأ

ولافى اهلنا والوالدينا

And never let us see, my God, worse

Nor in our families and parents

وللاعمار اختمها بخير

ويوم البعث نبعث فأزينا

And for lives, conclude them in good

And Resurrection Day, raise us adorned

ببركة أحمد خير البرايا

أمام الأولين والآخرينا

By blessing of Ahmad, best of creations

Before all first and last

عليه الله صلىكل حين

وسلم عد ذكر الذاكرينا

God bless him at all times

And send peace like those remembering mention

وتغشى الآل والأصحاب دأبا

وكل تابع والمسلمين

And envelop his Family and Companions habitually

And all followers and Muslims

ولله الكريم أجل حمد

يدوم عداد حدا الحامدين

And for Allah the Generous is fullest praise
