  1. يا أرحم الراحمين يا أرحم الراحمين

    يا أرحم الراحمين فرج على المسلمين

    O Most Merciful of those who show mercy, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy

    O Most Merciful of those who show mercy, relieve the Muslims

  2. يا ربنا ياكريم ياربنا رحيم

    أنت الجواد الحليم وأنت نعم المعين

    O our Lord, O Generous One, O our Lord, Most Kind

    You are the Most Giving, the Clement, and You are the best Helper

  3. وليس نرجو سواك

    فادرك إلهي دراك

    We hope for none but You

    So come to our aid, my God, come to our aid

  4. قبل الفنا والهلاك

    يعم دنيا ودين

    Before demise and ruin befall us

    And engulf the world and religion

  5. ومالنا ربنا سواك يا حسبنا

    ياذا العلا والغنى وياقوي يامتين

    We have none but You, our Lord, O our Sufficiency

    O You of loftiness and wealth, O You of strength and refuge

  6. نسألك والي يقيم العدل كي نستقيم

    على هداك القويم ولا نطيع اللعين

    We ask You, by the one who establishes justice, to guide us

    Upon Your straight path, and not obey the wicked

  7. ياربنا يامجيب

    أنت السميع القريب

    O our Lord, O Responder

    You are the All-Hearing, the Nearby

  8. ضاق الوسيع الرحيب

    فانظر إلى المؤمنين

    The spacious, the Vast has narrowed

    So look upon the believers

  9. نظره تزيل العنا عنا وتدني المنا

    منا وكل الهنا نعطاه في كل حين

    A look that removes distress from us, and brings ease closer

    To us, and all our bliss we grant in every instant

  10. سالك بجاه الجدود

    وإلى يقيم الحدود

    We ask You by the status of the ancestors

    And of the one who establishes limits

  11. عنا ويكفي الحسود

    ويدفع الظالمين

    To spare us and suffice the envious

    And drive away the wrongdoers

  12. يزيل للمنكرات يقيم للصلوات

    يأمر بالصالحات محب للصالحين

    Remove the evil deeds, establish the prayers

    Command the righteous deeds, loving of the righteous

  13. يزيح كل الحرام يقهر كل الطغام

    يعدل بين الأنام يؤمن الخائفين

    Banish all prohibitions, conquer all tyrants

    Make justice between people, give security to those in fear

  14. رب اسقنا غيث عام نافع مبارك دوام

    يدوم في كل عام على ممر السنين

    Lord, quench us with a rain, beneficial and blessed forever

    Lasting in every year, across the passage of years

  15. رب أحينا شاكرين

    وتوفنا مسلمين

    Lord, make us thankful

    And take us as Muslims

  16. نبعث من الآمنين

    في زمرة السابقين

    Resurrected among the secure

    In the group of the foremost

  17. بجاه طه الرسول

    جد ربنا بالقبول

    By the status of Taha the Messenger

    Make haste, our Lord, to accept

  18. وهب لنا كل سول

    رب استجب لي آمنين

    And grant us every request

    Lord, respond to me, Amen

  19. عطاك ربي جزيل

    وكل فعلك جميل

    May your Lord grant you abundantly

    And all your deeds are beautiful

  20. وفيك أملنا طويل

    فجد على الطامعين

    And in You is our great hope

    So aid against the greedy

  21. يارب ضاق الخناق

    من فعل مالا يطاق

    O Lord, the confinement has tightened

    From deeds that cannot be borne

  22. فامنن بفك الغلاق

    لمن بذنبه رهين

    So favor us by loosening the shackles

    For those hostage to their sins

  23. واغفر لكل الذنوب

    واستر لكل العيوب

    And forgive all sins

    And conceal all flaws

  24. واكشف لكل الكروب

    واكف أذى المؤذيين

    And reveal every anguish

    And spare the harm of the harm-doers

  25. واختم باحسن ختام

    إذا دنا الإنصرام

    And conclude with the best conclusion

    When the time of death draws near

  26. وحان حين الحمام

    وزاد رشح الجبين

    And the moment of bathing arrives

    And the flow of sweat increases on the brow

  27. ثم الصلاة والسلام

    على شفيع الأنام

    Then prayers and peace

    Upon the Intercessor of mankind

  28. والآل نعم الكرام

    والصحب والتابعين

    And the honored Family

    And the Companions and Followers
