عسى نفحة الرحمن تأت من الرب
تعم البرايا لا بكد ولا كسب
May the breeze of the Most Merciful come from the Lord
Spreading goodness over the land without toil or gain
سوى محض فضل الله جودا ومنة
وعفوا وصفوا عين أفضاله الوهبي
Only by the pure grace of Allah, benevolence and favor
And pardon, clemency, the spring of His boundless gifts
بها يستقيم الكل في خير ملة
على ملة الاسلام بالجسم والقلب
By it all become righteous in the best nation
The nation of Islam in body and spirit
مطيعين للرحمن في كل أمره
ونترك كل الاثم والوزر والذنب
Obedient to the Most Merciful in all His commands
And we forsake all sin, burden, and guilt
وماذا على ربي عزيز فانه
إذا شاء أمرا كان في غاية القرب
What is incumbent upon my Mighty Lord, for He
Whenever He wills a matter it comes to pass swiftly
تفضل عظيم الفضل وامنن بتوبة
علينا تولي بالغموم وبالكرب
Bestow immense grace and favor us with repentance
Relieve us of worries and distress
ونمسي بها في خير حال وعيشة
على الشكر للصحة والامن والخصب
And we live in good condition and livelihood
With gratitude for health, safety, and fertility
فكم لك من جودكم لك من عطا
وكم تتفضل يا الهي وكم تحبي
How much is Your benevolence, how much is Your gift
How much You bestow favors my God, how much You love
فزدنا وزدنا ثم زدنا وهب لنا
بفضلك فضلا ليس يخطر في اللب
Increase us, increase us, then increase us and grant us
By Your grace, a grace that does not occur to the mind
فكم حاجة منك طلبنا فانجزت
وزدت عليها فوق أضعافها يربي
How many needs we asked of You and You fulfilled
And increased them manifold, my Lord
وكم محنة منك طلبنا زوالها
فزالت وما عنها خبير بهاينبي
How many tribulations we asked You to remove
And they were removed, and the Prophet knows not of them
ولي ربي حاجات فياربي اقضها
جميعا قريبا ثم هب لي مناقلبي
And I have needs, my Lord, so fulfill them
Soon, then grant me from my difficulties
بجاه شفيع الخلق تقضى حوائجي
عليه صلاة الله والآل والصحب
By the stature of the Intercessor of creation, my needs are fulfilled
Blessings of Allah be upon him, his family, and companions
