  1. ما يَحفَظِ اللَهُ يَصُن

    ما يَصنَعِ اللَهُ يَهُن

    What Allah preserves is protected

    What Allah makes is weakened

  2. مَن يُسعِدِ اللَهُ يَلِن

    لَهُ الزَمانُ إِن خَشُن

    Who Allah makes happy is softened

    Time is for him even if harsh

  3. أَخي اِعتَبِر لا تَغتَرِر

    كَيفَ تَرى صَرفَ الزَمَن

    My brother, take heed, do not be fooled

    See how time turns

  4. يُجزى بِما أوتي مَن

    فعل قَبيحٍ أَو حَسَن

    One is rewarded for what he was given

    Be it an ugly deed or good

  5. أَفلَحَ عَبدٌ كُشِفَ ال

    غِطاءُ عَنهُ فَفَطن

    Successful is a servant whose

    Covering was removed and he understood

  6. وَقَرَّ عَيناً مَن رَأى

    أَنَّ البَلاءَ في اللَسن

    And it pleased one who saw

    That trials are on tongues

  7. فَمازَ مِن أَلفاظِهِ

    في كُلِّ وَقتٍ وَوَزن

    So he refrained from its words

    At every time and rhythm

  8. وَخافَ مِن لِسانِهِ

    عَزباً حَديداً فَحَزن

    And feared from his tongue

    Loose iron chains so he grieved

  9. وَمَن يَكُ مُعتَصِماً

    بِاللَهِ ذي العَرشِ فَلَن

    And whoever holds firm

    To Allah, Lord of the Throne, so he will never

  10. يَضُرُّهُ شَيءٌ وَمن

    يَعدي عَلى اللَهِ وَمَن

    Be harmed by anything and who

    Transgresses upon Allah and who

  11. مَن يَأمَنِ اللَه يَخَف

    وَخائِفُ اللَهِ أَمن

    Who fears Allah is wary

    And Allah's fearful one is secured

  12. وَما لِما يُثمِرُهُ ال

    خَوفُ مِنَ اللَهِ ثَمَن

    And the fear of Allah has no

    Price for what it yields

  13. يا عالِمَ السِرِّ كَما

    يَعلَمُ حَقّاً ما عَلَن

    O Knower of secrets as

    You truly know what is private and public

  14. صَلِّ عَلى جَدّي أَبي ال

    قاسِمِ ذي النورِ المُبَن

    Bless my grandfather, my father Al

    Qasim, the evident light

  15. أَكرَمُ مِن حَيٍّ وَمِن

    لُفِّفَ مَيتاً في الكَفَن

    More generous than a living one and than

    One shrouded in a burial shroud

  16. وَاِمنُن عَلَينا بِالرِضا

    فَأَنتَ أَهلٌ لِلمِنَن

    And favor us with acceptance

    For You are worthy of favors

  17. وَاِعفِنا في دينِنا

    مِن كُلِّ حُسرٍ وَغُبُن

    And pardon us in our religion

    From every disappointment and failing

  18. ما خابَ مَن خابَ كَمَن

    يَوماً إِلى الدُنيا رَكَن

    Not disappointed is he who disappointed

    A day towards worldly life leaned

  19. طوبى لِعَبدٍ كُشِفَت

    عَنهُ غِياباتِ الوَسَن

    Good tidings to a servant whose

    Seclusions were uncovered

  20. وَالمَوعِدُ اللَه وَما

    يَقضي بِهِ اللَهُ مَكَن

    And the promise is Allah's and what

    Allah decrees is established
