ولا أخي وعمه وبكري

I had no patience for complaint

Neither my brother, uncle, nor Bakri

شفيت نفسي وقضيت نذري

شفيت وحشي غليل صدري

I healed my soul and fulfilled my vow

I healed my beloved's anguished heart

فشكر وحشي على عمري

حتى ترم أعظمي في قبري

So thank my beloved for my life

Until my bones rest in my grave

أبي وعمي وشقيق بكري

أخي الذي كان كضوء البدر

My father, uncle and brother Bakri
