بشرى لكم بالفوز يا كل البَشَر
فالدَهر عن وجه المكارِم قد سفر
Good tidings to you all of victory, O all humankind
For time has unveiled the face of virtues
ولتنعمن نفوسكم فاليوم قد
لاحت شموس العز من فلك القدر
And let your souls delight, for today
The suns of glory have emerged from the orbit of fate
أهدى العزيز لنا الخليفة عبده
من كان في عثمان كنزاً مدخر
The Almighty has bestowed upon us His caliph, His servant
Who was a treasure hidden in Uthman
فاهتزت الدنيا به فرحاً وقد
طوى الأسى والسعد كالسحب انتشر
The world shook with joy because of him, and
Sorrow has been folded, happiness spread like the clouds
وبدت بجود الملك بارقة الهنا
وهمى على الآفاق من نعم مطر
And with the king's generosity, gleams of bliss appeared
And dreams of bounty rained over the horizons
وافتر ثغر الدهر عن شنب الصفا
فصفت لنا الأيام واندثر الكدر
The mouth of time smiled, revealing teeth of purity
The days lined up for us, and turmoil vanished
ملك على عرش الخلافةِ مذ علا
ظهر النعيم وحاز عزّاً من صغر
He ruled the throne of the caliphate when he rose
Luxury appeared, and he gained glory from a young age
كل الملوك كواكب لكنما
عبد العزيز لكلهم شمسا ظهر
All kings are like stars, but
Abdulaziz is like a sun that rose over them all
قد زين التخت العلى بمجده
أبداً كما قد زين الطرف الحور
He adorned the highest throne with his glory
Forever, as he adorned the lovely maidens
بالعدل كسرى والتسلط قيصر
وذكا سليمان به وقوى عمر
With justice like Chosroes, authority like Caesar
Wisdom like Solomon, and strength like Omar
نامت عيون الناس تحت ظلاله
أمنا وبات لحفظه يرعى السهر
People's eyes slept under his shade
Securely, while he stayed up guarding
فيه غدا غصن التمني معطيا
ثمر النجاح وكلّنا نجني الثمر
In the morning, the branch of wishes yielded
The fruit of success, and we all reap the fruit
أخلى قلوب الشعب من خوف الردى
وأحل فيها الرعب منه والحذر
He rid the hearts of the people from fear of malice
And filled them with awe and caution of him
لكم الهنا يا خاضعين لحكمه
فلقد ظفرتم بالرجاء المنتظر
Joy to you, o you who live under his rule
For you have attained the awaited hope
قد سدّ طرق النائبات بحزمه
عن ساحة الملك الذي فيه ازدهر
He closed off the ways of adversities decisively
From the realm of the king, in whom prosperity flourished
وإذا تولى الملك ملك حازم
لا يتركن به سبيلا للضرر
When a resolute king assumes command
He leaves no room for harm
كتب القضاء على صفاح سيوفه
لا عيش للعاصي إذا السيف اشتهر
Fate has written with his swords
No life for the disobedient when the sword is unsheathed
قد ألبست كل البلاد يمينه
حلل الأمان وقد نضت عنها الخطر
His right hand has clothed all the lands
In garments of security, removing peril
فأعاد ما هدم الزمان مشيداً
بعزيمة تحكي الزمان إذا اقتدر
He rebuilt what time had ruined
With determination that tells of time when it is capable
وبنى من النعماء حصنا للوَرى
هذي هي الجدوى فقل نعم الأثر
And built from bounties a fortress for people
Such is the benefit, so say, an excellent effect
فلتسعد الدنيا به ولتبتهج
كل الملا ولتفرح الدول الأخر
May the world thrive through him and rejoice
And all leaders be glad, and other states delighted
كن يا أمير المؤمنين مُسربلاً
بالفوز ما غنى الهزار على الشجر
O commander of the faithful, be clad
In victory, for as long as the ink flows on paper
ما أنت إلا الشمس في أوج العلى
وإليك كالحرباء كل قد نظر
You are but the sun at its zenith
And all, like particles of dust, look to you
إن المهيمن مذ دعاك خليفة
في الأرض كي ترعى الأنام بما أمر
Since the Guardian called you caliph
To shepherd the people as He ordered
نادى لديك العرش عش يا ذا القوى
والدهر قال مؤرخاً سد بالظفر
He called to you, "Live, O possessor of might"
And time chronicled, "Triumph with victory"
