وَإِنَّكَ إِذ تَغتالُ عِرضَكَ ظالِماً
When you wrong yourself, acting unjustly,
You are like one who carries a burden upon a burden.
لَكالحامِلِ الأَوزارِ وَزراً على وزرِ
At a time when I do not fend off harm from an insolent foe,
Nor harvest fruit from an unjust oppressor's palm tree.
عَلى حينِ لا أَمشِي الضَراءَ لِكاشِحٍ
عَدُوٍّ وَلا يَجتَنُّ مِن ظالِمٍ وَتَري
