وحين رأى كُماة ستين أن ال

عدو على بلاد السرب كّرا

When the sixty owls saw that the

Enemy was attacking the land of the flock

اجابوا قبل أن يدعوا وهبوا

وفاءً بالعهود لها وبرا

They responded before being called and gave

Loyalty to the pact with it and righteousness

وصاحوا يا لثأر السرب اكبر

به ممن عليها جار ثأرا

And shouted, oh the greatest vengeance of the flock

Against those who wronged it and sought vengeance

وكروا مع حليفتهم أسوداً

ترجُّ الارض زمجرةً وزأرا

And they attacked with their ally the lions

The earth trembled with their roaring and growling

وبنت الشمس قامت تقتفي في

اقاصي الشرق للحلفاء إثرا

And the rising sun began to follow in

The far east the allies’ tracks

وللالمان جاحت من كيوشو

وعقد وجودهم نثرته نثرا

And for the Germans, disaster came from Kyushu

And it scattered their existence and dispersed it

كذا حمي الوطيس وعم ضنك ال

كريهة واستحال اليسر عسرا

Thus the battle raged and the hardship spread

Hatefully and ease turned into adversity

وغول الحرب أودى بالملايين

من قتلى ومن جرحى وأسرى

And the ghoul of war destroyed millions

Of dead, wounded, and prisoners
