يا من يجيب دعا المضطرّ في الظلم

يا كاشف الضرّ والبلوى مع السقم

O You who answers the call of the distressed in adversity

O Remover of harm and afflictions, along with disease

قد نام وفدُك حول البيت وانتبهوا

وأنتَ يا حيّ يا قيّومُ لم تنَمِ

Your delegation around the House has fallen asleep and awakened

While You, O Ever-Living, O Eternal, have not slept

إن كان جودكَ لا يرجوهُ ذو سفهٍ

فمن يجود على العاصين بالكرمِ

If Your generosity is not hoped for by the foolish

Then who bestows generosity upon the disobedient with bounty
