قَتَلوا حُسَيناً ثُمَّ هُم يَنعونَهُ

إِنَّ الزَّمانَ بِأَهلِهِ أَطوارُ

They killed Hussein then they eulogize him

Indeed, time has its rounds with people

لا تَبعدن بالطّفِّ قَتلى ضُيِّعَت

وَسَقى مَساكِنَ هامِها الأَمطارُ

Do not neglect with indifference those killed and lost

And their desolate abodes were watered by rains

ما شُرطَةُ الدَّجالِ تَحتَ لِوائِهِ

بِأَضلَّ مِمَّن غَرَّهُ المُختارُ

The Antichrist's police under his banner

Are not more misguided than those deluded by the Chosen One

أَبني قَسِيٍّ أوثِقوا دَجالَكُم

يُجلَ الغُبارُ وَأَنتُم أَحرارُ

O children of Qasiy, restrain your Antichrist

The dust will settle while you are free

لَو كانَ عِلمُ الغَيبِ عِندَ أَخيكُمُ

لَتَوطَّأت لَكُم بِهِ الأَحبارُ

If the knowledge of the unseen were with your brother

The rabbis would have submitted to you through it

وَلَكانَ أَمراً بَينَنا فيما مَضَى

تَأتي بِهِ الأَنباءُ وَالأَخبارُ

And there would have been a matter between us in the past

That news and reports would have brought

إِنّي لأَرجو أَن يُكَذِّبَ وَحيَكُم

طَعنٌ يَشُقُّ عَصاكُمُ وَحِصارُ

Indeed, I hope that a piercing denial will belie your revelation

And people will come to you as if their swords

وَيجيئُكم قَومٌ كَأَنَّ سُيوفَهُم

بأَكُفِّهم تَحتَ العَجاجَةِ نارُ

Under their palms were fire

They will not recoil when they face you

لا يَنثَنونَ إِذا هُمُ لاقَوكُمُ

إِلا وَهامَ كُماتِكُم أَعشارُ

Except with the remains of your skulls in fragments
