خَيال سعد أسعف بالمزار

فَزار من الغوير بلا ازورار

The dream of Saad brought good tidings at the shrine

He visited it from Al-Ghuwair without buttons

سَرى تهديه نسمة ريح نجد

جعلت فداه من سار وَساري

He walked with a breeze guiding him from the wind of Najd

I sacrifice myself for the one who walked and walked

سَرى من أبرق العلمين وَهنا

خَفي الشخص مأمون الاثار

He walked from the two flags here

The hidden one, safeguarded traces

ألم بمضجَعي نفظرت منه

بما ظفر الفرزدق من نوار

Pain struck my resting place when I looked at it

With what Al-Farazdaq gained in light

تنمّ به رياح المسك عرفا

وَشمس الحسن من خلف الخمار

The winds of musk exhale it

And the sun of beauty behind the veil

بِنَفسي من علقت به غَراما

فبعت القلب منه بلا خيار

With myself, whom I fell in love with

So I sold my heart to him without choice

أَذوب صبابة وأحن وَجدا

اليه يَفيض أَجفان غزار

I melt out of love and longing and sadness

To him the brimming eyelids overflow

عَسى علم عن العلمين أوعن

وَسيمات المَحاسن من نزار

Hopefully a banner of the two banners may know

Or the traits of beauty from scattered

فبين البان والاثلات ربع

لظبي الانس لا ظبي الصحاري

So between goodbyes and encampments a quarter

For the gazelle of humanity, not the gazelle of the deserts

تسفهني العَواذِل فيه جهلا

وَما عذري سوى خلق العذار

The maidens rebuke me in ignorance

And I have no excuse but the nature of the chaste

أخى سر منهجي واصبر كَصَبري

لشرب الملح أَو رعي المرار

My brother, keep secret my path and be patient like my patience

To drink bitterness or graze bitterness

فاني قد مشيت بكل فج

وَقاسيت الملمات الطواري

For I have walked every rugged terrain

And endured the twisting tribulations

وَذقت مَرارة التَجريب حَتّى

تبينت النحاس من النضار

And tasted the bitterness of experience until

I differentiated the copper from the pure

فخل معاشرات الناس تسلم

وَعاملهم بحلم واِصطبار

So stay away from socializing with people in peace

And treat them with forbearance and patience

وان ضاق الخناق عليك فانزل

بسيدنا ابن سيدنا النَهاري

And if trouble tightens around you, then descend

To our master son of our master Al-Nahari

كَريم تعلق الآمال منه

بعز الجار مَحمود الجوار

A noble one on whom hopes rely

For the might of the generous neighbor

امام قائم بالحق ساع

بنصح الخلق بحر الاعتبار

An imam standing for truth, helping

People with advice, an ocean of lessons

عماد المتقين وَمنتقاهم

وَقطب الدين مرتفع الفخار

Support of the pious and their refuge

And pole of religion, highly esteemed

هو العلم المَلىء بكل علم

هو البحر المحيط عَلى البحار

He is the scholar filled with all knowledge

He is the endless ocean over oceans

هُوَ النجم المضيء لكل سار

هُوَ القمر المنزه عَن سرار

He is the shining star for every striver

He is the immaculate moon from defects

مَلاذ مؤمل وَغياث راج

وَغاية مصلب وَغَني افتقار

A hope for the hopeful and aid for the seeker

And goal of the desperate and need of the poor

وَسيف في يَمين اللَه يَقفو

بهمته طَريقة ذي الفقار

And a sword in the right hand of God that

Follows in his determination the path of Thul-Faqar

ربت في ريف رأفته البرايا

وَطيرا الجوبل وحش القفار

The countryside flourished with his mercy

And the deserts' beasts and birds

نما من دوحة فيها تَسامَت

فروع الدين ثابتة النحار

It grew from a palm tree in which ascended

The branches of religion, firm and rooted

وَجيه لَو جه ذو كرم عَريض

وَذو صفح تَراه عَلى اِقتدار

A man, if a man were to face valor

And were to face forgiveness, you would see him able

وَشمس علاه لَيسَ لها أفول

وَزند نده في الازمات وارى

A sun whose prominence has no set

And a light whose help comes in adversities

يَلوذ بجاهه من خاف ظلما

فَيَلقاه قَريب الانتصار

Whoever fears injustice takes refuge in his glory

So finds him near in victory

غمام المكرمات لكل راج

وَثملان السَكينة وَالوقار

Clouds of generosity for every seeker

And fruits of tranquility and dignity

وأسرع من يجاب له دعاء

اذا رمق السماء بلا اِفتخار

And the fastest to answer a call

When glancing at the sky without arrogance

يَرى بطلائع الانوار مالا

تَراه العين سرا كالجهار

He sees with the dawns of light what

The eyes cannot see, secret to public

وَكل الكوندون حياط قاف

بمرأى منه متضح المنار

And the entire universe is an enclosure

In his vision, illuminated

لَقَد شرف الوجود بنور احيا

مَوات الدين مشتهر الشعار

Indeed, existence was ennobled with the light that revived

The dying of religion, prominent in repute

قَصير لوعد وافى لعهد جاوي

مَقاليد الهدى عف الازار

Short in promise, loyal in covenant, conqueror

The keys to guidance folded in modesty

لدنى العلوم يجيب عنه

لسان حَقيقة الحبر الحواري

The sciences flow to him and eloquent

Tongue of truth answers the skillful

أَجبني يا فَتىعمر بن موسى

أَقلني يا محمد من عثارى

Answer me, O son of Umar ibn Musa

Relieve me, O Muhammad, of burdens

فَكَم لك من يد وَرَهين جود

وَمَولى نعمة وَعتيق نار

For you have so many hands and pledges of generosity

And masters of bounty and emancipated from fire

سمى أَبيك جاركفيكما لي

ظنون حماية وَجوار جار

Name your father and neighbor for me both

With whom I have thoughts of protection and neighborhood

فَقَوما بي وَقَولا أَنتَ منا

اذا النيران طائرة الشرار

So stand by me and say you are ours

When fires spread havoc

فَكَم أَنقذتما بهداكما من

شفا جرف من النيران هارى

How many have you saved with your guidance

From a raging, fiery demise

وان مكرت بي الاعداء ظلما

فَكونا نصرتي وَخذا بثاري

And if enemies plot injustice against me

Be my aid and take my revenge

وان خفت الذنوب فبشراني

بعقبي الدار في دار القرار

And if I fear sins, give me good tidings

Of my future home in the eternal abode

وَها هي من لسان مهاجري

أَجازَ بها عَلى بعد الديار

Permitting through it the distant lands

To find the comfort of the two abodes in it

ليلقى راحة الدارين فيها

وَيعطى الامن في اَهل ودار

And be granted safety among family and home

Your generosity always flows generously

وَجاد ثراكما في كل حين

غزيرات الغوادي وَالسَواري

Cascades of valleys and necklaces

And every friendship lasted

وَباتَت كل والفة وَظلت

عَلى الحرم المعظم في قعار

At the honorable sanctuary in isolation
