لقد لَقِيَت أفناءُ بكر بن وائلٍ

وهِزَّانُ بالبطحاءِ ضَرباً غَثَمثَما

إذا ما غَضِبنا غَضبةً مُضَرِيَّةً

هتكنا حِجابَ الشمسِ أو قَطَرَت دما
