حِجابُكَ ضَيِّقٌ وَنَداكَ نَزرٌ

حِجابُكَ ضَيِّقٌ وَنَداكَ نَزرٌ

وَإِذنُكَ قَد يُرادُ عَلَيهِ أَجرُ

وَإِذنُكَ قَد يُرادُ عَلَيهِ أَجرُ

Access to you is restricted, and your bounty is scant.

And a fee may be demanded for your leave to enter.

وَذُلٌّ أَن يَقومَ إِلَيكَ حُرٌّ

وَذُلٌّ أَن يَقومَ إِلَيكَ حُرٌّ

وَطُلّابُ الثَوابِ لَدَيكَ نَقرُ

وَطُلّابُ الثَوابِ لَدَيكَ نَقرُ

And it is humiliation for a free man to stand before you.

And those seeking reward are sheep before you.
