Do not leave me cast aside at the house's door.
Do not leave me lying at your door
For a noble man does not shut himself away from noble men.
For the free man does not hide from the free
Suppose we came without an intercessor or a means of access.
We came with no intercessor and no cause
Are you not yourself the means to your kindness?
Are you not the cause of your own kindness?
