وَخافَت عَلى التَطوافِ فَوتى وَإِنَّما

وَخافَت عَلى التَطوافِ فَوتى وَإِنَّما

تُصادُ غِرارُ الوَحشِ وَهيَ رُتوعُ

تُصادُ غِرارُ الوَحشِ وَهيَ رُتوعُ

And amid her roaming, she feared I would escape; yet only

She feared missing circumambulation, though

The unwary wild beasts are caught while they graze.

Only the shy gazelles are hunted, when sated they return
