انظر لأوراق الربيع وقد بدت
محمرَّةً في صفرة الأشجارِ
Look upon the leaves of spring, now come into view,
reddened amid the yellowing of the trees,
وكأنَّها لما تبدَّت بينها
شفقٌ تبدَّى في سماء نُضارِ
as though, when they appeared among them,
they were twilight appearing in a daytime sky.
